No. SimplePDF processes all PDFs directly in your browser. Documents containing Social Security numbers, bank details, and personal information are never sent to SimplePDF's servers, on any plan.
Can I embed SimplePDF into my HR platform?
Yes. SimplePDF can be embedded as an iframe or integrated via our React, vanilla JS, or web component packages. Documents stay in the browser, and completed PDFs can be sent to your backend via webhooks. Learn more about our embed options.

All PDF editing happens in the browser. When saving completed documents, the client uploads directly to the target storage using presigned URLs. You can use Bring Your Own Storage (S3, Azure Blob) to keep documents within your own infrastructure.
